Reflection Tool
Capture Your Moments
Reflection starts with noticing. What stood out today? Actively scan your interactions for "Eureka!" moments, "Puzzled" moments, or spontaneous "Adaptation" moments where you changed course mid-lesson.
Your reflective sanctuary can be anything that works for you. Whether it is a classic journal, a quick voice note, or a photo album, find a medium that allows you to pour your thoughts out while they are fresh.
Take yourself away from the setting to meditate on the event. Ask evaluative questions: Why did that interaction go well? How could I have rephrased that for better clarity? How did my own assumptions influence the situation?
Share stories with trusted colleagues. Framing the question as "What patterns did you notice that I might be blind to?" opens the door for rich learning opportunities and alternative pedagogical interpretations.
